Commercial
The drafting and negotiation of contracts and other agreements to manage risk is the essence of commercial advice. This requires sector knowledge and a detailed understanding of how organisations function.
While risks can arise in a number of ways, it is generally customers, distributors, franchisors, licensors or suppliers that are the primary source.
Our sector expertise is gained through working alongside our clients. They include global household names in FMCG, hospitality and leisure, retail and technology. The Commercial team has advised these and other clients on the full range of agreements and contracts, including agency and distribution, colocation, manufacturing and supply, outsourcing and other service provision agreements, sponsorships and agreements that govern strategic relationships.
The team provides clients with an assessment of the commercial and legal risks and issues, advice on the risks and issues most likely to affect the deal and the best means of addressing those risks.
